A man and a woman are dwarfed by the enormous Skógafoss waterfall in Iceland. Many interesting contrasts in the image create tension. The man is older, and dressed in grays, while the woman is younger and wearing bright colors. The man contemplatively faces the falls, and the woman walks away, toward camera. The concreteness of the people versus the abstraction of the waterfall draws the eye back to the people again and again, yet the people themselves are unclear and somewhat abstracted as well. Another contrast is the softness of the water versus the solidity of the mossy stone.
This image is printed on Canson Baryta Photographique inkjet paper with an Epson P9570 inkjet printer using Epson UltraChrome HDX inks for maximum archival quality. Available tubed or framed. Contact us for more details.

Description
Frames are handmade to order from solid walnut lumber. Frames are stained with black ink and finished with wax for a satin finish with visible grain.
Frames are 3/4″ x 1-15/16″. Prints sized 24×32″ can be framed in a smaller 1/2″ x 1-1/2″ frame.
All images are offered with or without 3″ white mat.

Our framer is absolutely top-notch, but prints can be ordered tubed so you can take it to any framer you like. Rotella Gallery strongly recommends tubed prints only be opened by professional framers/art handlers.
